It is with a sense of anticipation, excitement, and humility that I take
on the responsibility of serving as your District III Vice-President.
I look forward to traveling around the district, reading your newsletters,
and hearing about the successes of your chapters/networks. The
statement “that there is no I in team” is one we need to
embrace this year.
The ABWA challenges of growth, commitment, and
change is a huge task when faced alone-but with a group of committed
ABWA members we can and will succeed. For some of us it will mean
stepping out of our comfort zone,
doing some out of the box thinking, or striving to change the direction
of your chapter/network embrace these opportunities and get excited about
the positive changes that will take place as you grow with ABWA. Just
think how exciting this year will be as we share our ideas and successes
among our district.
On a personal note, thank you for all of the cards, the e-mails, and
support that have been given to me. In true ABWA fashion I have
been surrounded by friends and mentors who have assisted me in both my
business and personal growth. Each of you has a special place in
my personal memory book.
My personal number one goal for this year is that when District III
members and friends look back at this year and rate your District Vice-President
you will be able to say, “She served us well”.
In ABWA friendship,
Lara Neidel,
2007-2008 ABWA District III Vice President
